Hartpury College - T Level Agricultural Engineering
Introduction/Overview
Hartpury College and University is a specialised educational institution in Gloucestershire which offers degree, A-Level, T-Level, and diploma courses to college and university students. Situated on a 360-hectare campus, Hartpury focuses on agriculture, animal studies, business, equine, and sports courses.
In January 2023, PMc was commissioned by Hartpury University and College to develop the funding bid for the T-Levels Wave 5 in Agriculture for the refurbishment of 2 workshops and classrooms. Following successful bid approval, we managed the project through to Stage 3 for tender and contractor selection and continue to manage the project during construction and until completion in August 2024. The project involved converting two existing, dilapidated agriculture workshops into a modern teaching and learning facilities for T-Level students. Commencing in April 2024, the project was completed in time for the 2024/25 academic year. Following completion, a series of minor additional maintenance works were undertaken until October 2024.
The project was partly funded by the DFE (90%).
