Interim Executive Leadership
We have worked with a number of Colleges, Universities and Local Authorities to provide both long-term and shorter term interim executive leadership in both curriculum, quality and financial leadership roles.
As an experienced Vice Principal in the FE sector, Robert provides strong leadership in curriculum design, quality improvement, performance management and self-assessment. He is an experienced Ofsted nominee and is well respected by colleagues in the ESFA and the Further Education Commissioner’s team. He also holds a Doctorate in the Further Education Ofsted Inspection Framework.
We have supplied interim management services as Vice Principal with responsibilities for Curriculum, Quality and Student Services to:

Steve Carter has extensive board-level experience of property, finance, funding and strategy in the higher education sector and with international PLC corporations. As the Chief Financial & Operating Officer at Southampton Solent University, Steve developed new finance and treasury strategies, led on land acquisition and master planning, and on the delivery of the iconic Spark building. At Southampton Solent University, he also had board level responsibility for IT, estates and financial reporting. Steve served as a Board Member at Fareham College during a critical period of estates development. He is chair of the CIMA pension fund, chair of the BAR council audit committee and a member of the investment committee of the Royal College of Radiologists. Steve’s interim executive roles at PMc have included acting as Consultant Chief Operating Officer at the University of Chichester and as a Strategic Financial Advisor to the University of Central Lancashire.
